Hi friends, I'm challenge myself to stick with one system for 30 days (some sort of world record for me it seems in 2023). I've decided to finally give my traveler's notebooks some screen time and hope you'll enjoy coming along this journey with me.

The TN Weekly Memo insert, which is set up like the Hobonichi Weeks, might be a better fit than the TN vertical as you can use right side of page for thoughts and ephemera.

So many relatable points...flipping from planner to planner (trying the 30-day myself), the pull of traveler's notebook AND the TRC branding and the spending/guilt that can sometimes ensue, and then being okay with what works for me. As you said before, it is a hobby, and it's much less expensive that redecorating a room 😅 Love your drawings and watercolors!

I fully understand your struggle with not spending any more money on stationary and being seduced by my own thoughts, telling myself I need another or I need more, etc. I find it especially hard to stick to my goals at times where I'm tiered, bored or sad. Good for you to reach out for your patrions and ask for help. Thank you for this video, it's helps me to know that I'm not the only one struggling.

Thanks for watching! 💕 I’m sure there’s a balance out there we just need to discover. I thinking about doing an inventory of what I have to make it clear that I’m pretty well set, or maybe putting my covers on a shelf so they’re visible as a reminder that I’m good without another one 😅🙈

I’m so excited for you to stay in the TNs. When you posted about the spending and guilt I was thinking “no pressure, ofcourse, restart with the bulletjournal and the A6” but I’m really excited to see you use the TNs. They have been working for me for a couple of weeks and I’m enjoying them a lot 🎉 I hope you will find a lot of joy in them during this challenge. And regarding the predated daily memorykeeper - could you maybe predate an insert yourself? Would that even trick your brain into thinking of it as a dated insert? (I don’t know if it would work for me) anyway - I think you will be really glad to have it back!

I'm secretly glad to be sticking with them for now as well. I'm glad yours are working out! I was considering maybe trying to trim down a half year 15 sitology (next year or later this year) and stamping the dates in. but need to do some more research, maybe what I'm looking for already exists!

@@lindseyscribbles Just FYI: if you order a Stalogy, you can just bring it to Staples and they'll cut it down for you (They've even done it for free sometimes), so that might make the process seem a little less daunting.

Does the date stamp bleed through tomoe river paper?

It’s actually quite old and I need to find a replacement myself. There’s a big crack down the middle😅 I purchased it from boarders back in 2004 so I don’t think they still make it. The brand is called “lapdesk company”
