This casting would not be believable because Chris Pine is only one year older than Alexis in real life. You needed to believe that anyone playing Rory’s father would have been around 16 when she was born. David Sutcliffe who actually played Christopher is only 2 years younger than Lauren Graham which makes more sense to me. If the show took place today perhaps Chris Pine could be Christopher.

That was only the pilot episode though, which is understandable. After that they got a big outdoor set to represent Stars Hollow at Warner Brothers in California. This set, the town layout, you can sometimes recognise in other movies and shows. Like Norbit (that terrible Eddy Murphy movie).

Fun fact, I got the entire series on DVD in 2008 here in Belgium... and when Jesse just arrived and stood on the beach the song "here comes the sun" by the Beatles is played. But now I also have it available on Netflix and on there the song "catch a wave" by the Beach Boys plays. This happens often that we get different music, I guess this has to do with the rights to the music in different regions. It makes sense now that they planned a Jesse spin-off, because I thought it was weird that Jesse got such a big arc in S3E21 & S3E22, when the importance should naturally be on the GIlmore Girls and their life changing events toward the end of the season (Lorelai buying the Dragonfly and Rory graduating highschool). And then we see nothing of Jesse until many time later when he comes back to Stars Hollow.

Yeah, it's too bad they didn't go with it; that episode was interesting.

I haven't finished the previous seasons. I was in high school and college when GG aired and didn't spend a lot of time at home (babysat most nights and started working as soon as I could, gotta pay that college tuition!).

What I don't get is...how did the show end in 2007 and people STILL haven't seen all of them yet. I know, sometimes we get addicted to things "later", but...even ONE year after a show ends, there's no such thing as "spoilers"! If you haven't watched the full series, don't be watching videos full of facts about the show. Put it in your "Watch Later" list and find something else to watch "now".
