Love this conversion. Machine was cheap and motor was toast. Took the chance and purchased from Amazon. No regrets. Finish is nice. Movement is smooth and it will outlast yours truly. I don't use it as the novelty wore off real fast. Doing reverse stitch requires moving the entire piece 180 degrees and when working on heavy bags it's a PIA, especially when you have a electric machine next to it. It's fun and nice to have. Most forums poop poop this product as not being pure Singer. Wait 20 years and pay $100 on eBay or have it now. At least now I know how much of a novelty it is and saved $70 in the process. Sew? It's GREAT.

I just picked up one for my 1938 Singer 15k, I’ve been using it fairly regularly and love it, I’m currently sewing a leather and denim vest and it works really well.

Hi John, I live next to Singer, its a town just outside of Glasgow where the company Singer was created by an Indian family, The sewing machines are found all over the place here and you can get them second hand cheap! You have some good content on your channel and nearly at 1000 subscribers ! keep going and find the videos that give you the most viewers to your channel, then focus on that subject, e.g. Mercedes fixes, or car fixes, then you will find you will get more people interested in subscribing . Thanks Grove On, My life is about being scattered 😎. You are 100 correct about how to proceed w/ KZfaq but the reality is I need to know what I'm doing is helping people. Doing video for entertainment is not for me. I love entertaining videos and applaud KZfaq for making media a two way circus with all it's perks. When I get to 1000 subs, I can assure you, it will be by accident. I appreciate your feedback and look forward to producing more odd ball content. Hi Why did you not like use the hand cracker? Did it tire your arm? My sewing machine does not reverse but I learn to secure the stitches all the same. Thank you for the video.

Thanks for watching. I was not crazy for it because I was making bags with heavy fabric and found securing the stitch a pain with turning the bag to do a three stitch reverse. Guess I got spoiled with motorized reverse. I has more to do with me as I do the beginning and end of a seam.
