About Townscaper
"Build quaint island towns with curvy streets. Build small hamlets, soaring cathedrals, canal networks, or sky cities on stilts. Block by block.
No goal. No real gameplay. Just plenty of building and plenty of beauty. That's it."

the absolute power this game would hold if they added people, animals (like cats, dogs and some sea life), boats, and a first-person camera to walk around the city and sit on benches to take in the view

Nah, one of the main selling points of the game is simplicity. Currently only one tool, and you just click to use it. This game does not require more developers. All that really should be added now is a second tool to model terrain and small people that walk around the town, and a first person mode.

Strictholm, the Town of Ten Towers, lay several leagues from the coast in calm waters of the Bay of Breytonne. A haven for smugglers, merchants and fishermen, it grew over many a year; a patchwork of red brick and brown limestone, often painted yellow or white. It's narrow streets and small bridges create a labyrinthine network across several isles, mostly man made, many of which only accessible by boat or over covered arches. A peaceful place, men, women and children mill around between their small homes, the docks, warehouses and taverns. Although mild of climate and sunny for much of the year, little grows on these artificial isles, though the gardens are tranquil and quaint. The gentle breeze and sea air mingles with the scent of fish and seaweed, or freshly baked bread, using imported flour. The well-to-do live in mansion of their forefathers, rooms, wings and towers added as generations have gone by. Lord Toaster himself lives in the tallest, watching down over his peaceful island domain.

As an artist and aspiring comic/manga writer this is fantastic. I can build a city in 30 mins and then save it as reference to accurately depict it anytime I have to draw it or a piece of it again. How good is the camera? Seems like you can visualize any angle you want. If we could also customize a bit instead of full randomness and change the lens of camera (making it fish eye, etc), then this would a must have tool for people visualizing cities.
