There's a compilation of him just insulting customers. That's good to watch too. This was all Hell's kitchen: it's his restaurant with trained chefs, so when they mess up, it's his reputation on the line. He also has kitchen nightmare where restaurants with problems ask for his help & he helps them get back on track. He also has hotel hell which is similar to kitchen nightmare but for hotels

He acts like this because he knows he can literally do all of their jobs, if you've seen some of his other TV shows you'll see sometimes he controls the whole kitchen himself and does a better job than with 5 people. Those who truly have talent get upset when seeing their craft get disrespected.

@@kdizzle901 Or when it's just the two of them and he's running the pass like they did for a season (I forget which one) where James and Andy were competing against the black jackets (which remember SHOULD be extremely strong chefs at that point) and were still able to beat them by I think three tables.

the reason you never seen him give a complement is because you only watch his rage moments on youtube, but i watched season one of hells kitchen, and some talented people do get complements from him.

he has very wholesome nice moments too, these people are supposed to be professional cooks who get a shot at running one of his restaurants as well as 250k. He expects nothing but perfection from them all because he sees them as equals. Once they mess up, different story lol. Good reactions

There are jobs like this. Back in the 1980s working 'grind joint' casinos in the uk. But a few years later every place in the world was trying to hire us. Because we had trained getting it from 'both sides' from above and from the other side of the table. And we NEVER made mistakes after that training.

Watch a season of Hell’s Kitchen from start to finish and you’ll see as the chefs improve and the dead wood is removed his mood mellows out. If you can also look at how Marco Pierre White does this as well. The anger is not as intense but the intimidation status is turned right up.
