@@dreameva1400 don't speak about people you clearly have no knowledge about. gordon came up in a 2 bedroom flat on a council estate above a fish and chip shop (his moms shop which just about let them make ends meet). his dad turned alcoholic and his little brother was a heroin addict. never in gordons childhood was he or his parents rich, stop speaking out your arse.

He worked under Marco Pierre White for a couple of years. That man makes Ramsay look like Jesus Christ, in comparison.

@@BolverkAtlasia Pretty sure he had another mentor before Marco because the stuff Gordon does even down to the insults is still him being nice by comparison to his mentors who would physically abuse their students something Gordon had to put up with.

This is how it should be everywhere. The customer is not always right. If people want to walk into public places and act a fool, the employees, manger, or whoever should be able to clap back without the fear of getting fired....

It is SOOO discurteous to just waltz up to the chef. Your server is there to be the middle man between you and the kitchen. All of the time. I've had people ask if they could speak to the chef, and if it's not busy they don't mind sometimes coming out to talk to people who request them. But never, and I mean NEVER, just go to the kitchen. Surefire way to make sure they don't give a fuck what you have to say or if you ever set foot in the place again. Trust me, they don't want you back.

If you watch the whole episode with the pumpkin guy he had already eaten half of his risotto before complaining that there wasn't enough pumpkin in it. You can't complain that your food sucks and demand it to be replaced after you have already eaten it.

I think people forget, you are there to eat the restaurants food. If you don’t like something, then that’s your fault for ordering it. Definitely don’t go to the kitchen because the cooks and chefs are incredibly busy and don’t have time to stop and talk to you. If it’s clearly busy in the restaurant expect to wait or simply ask before your seated how long the wait is. Also I agree entirely that all customers are the same. Whether you’re a celebrity or the president. Quality of the food is more important than speed. If you want your food in 5 minutes, go to McDonalds.
