Hot glue will help it stay in place immediately and the wood glue help keep it glued long term, many use both simultaneously. Just a tip :) Love how unique your items are!!! You really think outside the box!

I am not a huge fan of Christmas, but my mom was. While she would decorate for every holiday, Christmas was her absolute favourite. I am seriously thinking about creating some of these in her memory, they are just too dang cute!

Love all the DIY's! My favorite was the banner you made and painted using the wood cutouts and puffy paint. It turned out beautiful and the ribbon did look like snow over the burlap.

Great tip about using mod podge over the top of fabric to make it easier to cut. I've never done that. Love the plaid!!

I love everything you made/ redid. I personally think the stitching makes them. Also on the puffy paint and heat I have never heard of it but I do have a snow recipe from a lady in Facebook that you make and heat it up and it puffs for snow. But I guess a person could probably use any color in the mixture.

I haven’t tried Dollar Tree’s puffy paint, but I’ve found with others that it really makes a difference what brand you get. Some would puff up naturally as they dry and some wouldn’t. But a good thing that helped me is try to not move it around much. Put it on the piece and only move it gently with a brush if you have to. This is hard for me to do because I’m always dabbing the paint here or there, but it has made quite a difference to leave it sit. You have had a tough couple of years, girlfriend - virtual hugs coming your way for you and yours…. 😍
