This gives me peace (even if I turned 31 a few months ago). Reminds me that whilst things may not be where I want them to be, the emotional volatility I had since puberty and throughout my twenties has really settled down and it’s more…me. We all start to feel more comfortable in our own skin, I’m finding, in our 30s. I’m so glad to discover that ❤

Growing up, i remember being told so many times "dont be in a rush to be grown". Well I was and being 31 now, God it is so fuckin worth it. I mean I have the freedom to be anything I wanna be and do anything I wanna do and be fully cognizant of the consequences of engaging in reckless or wise behavior. I dont just have to go to work, I get to enter a space that I enjoy applying what I have learned and I make money doing the things I do. I dont just pay bills, I get to decide how the power is managed in my home and navigate all the difficulties and benefits that come with that. I have the power of choice and even in choosing my own joy or suffering. I am so full of gratitude that this is the life I was given and I will do everything in my power to appreciate this space as best as I can. Hey bruh the 30 and up club welcomes you. We in here and the world is waiting for us to show all we gained from our 20s.

Im gonna be 40 in a week i think my 30s were like your 20s, because i had some bad depression in my 20s, so my 30s were spent trying to figure myself out. Hope your 30s (and beyond) are awesome!
