Aussies are the luckiest people in the world because they get land cruisers from the 70 series to the 300 series. Diesel and petrol.

yea no the price on them is stupid. the base 300 cost as much as a RAM 2500. even with the 70 series by the time you do all the GVM and tow rating upgrades it cost just as much as a ram.

@Casey Hopkins don't you guys have older ones that did come with petrol? I'm aware the latest model has the legendary V8 Diesel manual. Some people have shops out automatic transmission in them.

@Phalanx380 Toyota indeed marks their price, knowing the resale is great and longevity is almost garunteed. In actuality, the price should be lower because they don't change anything.

The build looks great on the 300, Toyota did some interesting things with the 300 series, a lower gcm when towing , a lower rear axle, max load, and fuel tank with a reduced capacity.

Great looking building mate. Honestly, has the speed of the electric fridge dropper bothered you yet? Its super cool, but I would like to see it as a one touch operation so that you don't have to sit there with your finger on the button. Just me.

Looks great Jason, will be good to see how it goes long term 👍 You mentioned you didn’t want to remove the DPF because you want to keep it legal but then you’ve tinted the tail lights which is illegal 😂🤷🏻‍♂️ Nice looking wagon mate, well done …. but please, pleeeeeeease stop calling it a truck 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️ we’re not in America mate, here in Australia they’re a wagon. doof doof music, really ? When I find a perfect spot out in the beautiful quiet bush somewhere, and want to relax and unwind, the last thing I want to hear is dance music blazing away but that could just be me 🤦🏻‍♂️ Keep up the great work though mate👍

I gotta say I’m impressed. We test drove the 300 and that helped me decide to buy a Y62 S5 Patrol. But you done this 300 justice. I’ll watch with interest, see how it goes off road and if it breaks

As usual a well thought out rig. My only surprise is no scrub bars and side steps or rock sliders. I doubt those factory side steps will last. Nice to see the rear bar from the Raslarr boys in VIC. They make a top quality product.

The 300 is simply beautiful inside out, toyota had done a good job. When it came out it was like every other toyota nothing special but as they start to age they just look better and better.

Very nice and tidy, personal preference the power slide too bulky. But one little thing I would have done is go retractable air leads would of topped off the rear set up

We’re you able to disconnect all sensors in the front bull bar and back bumper bar and the 2 blind spot sensors in back bumper bar and keep the reverse camera working

With the compressor, what if 2 tyres were lower pressures to the others, will they go still inflate to same pressures. Other option rather than having to roll out 2 hoses what if had connections near each wheel.

Nice build. How do you blokes go with electronics on new Vehicle.I notice the other Vehicles are Isuzu. .We have a BT50 at work ( which is an Isuzu). They have sensors in front bar.Do you disconnect them some how. They would drive you nuts with what you do Farmers set them off driving trough a stubble paddock

Nice rig, there are reports coming out about using a lot of oil, so watch that. Report stated will use more oil if in stop start traffic, heavy acceleration, towing , everything that land cruiser does. That does not include rock crawling, mud driving. Watch this space.
