Wow does this bring back memories! When I was in jr high school I lived in the mountains in a remote area. I had a real need to ride. I had no money and town was to far away to ride my bicycle. I loved dirt bikes. I traded everything to get motorcycle parts. I built many different powered contraptions. I welded up one contraption that was made from 7 different manufacturers.It was a riot to ride! Here is the list, Honda, Hodaka, Husky, Ossa, Greaves/AJ Stormer, Suzuki, Bultaco. I did finally get a real motocross bike but the first 3 monstrosities were of my own creation LOL. Now I still live in the mountains of Oregon but living off grid and thinking outside the box is still a joy.Thanks for the Video.

Liked the music on the first two videos. Nice concept, however the welding looks a little scary. Good luck.

haha I know those welds are sketch i'll go over it though.

looks great! I was looking at the chain and it seems loose. You can get what is called an "chain idler sprocket" and attach it to a bar/spring to make your own chain tensioner to keep from jacking up your sprockets or slinging your chain off.
@OliverMotorized7 жыл бұрын
haha yeah the chain is very loose I made tighteners for the back tire so it slides back and tightens the chain thanks for the advice!

Always great to see diesel bikes, the Indian ones are very slow but there's some clever military ones about, I would not run a chain that slack but I'm sure you will tension it. your gear linkage between 4th & 5th needs a rethink too lol (Diesel bikes really REALLY need lots of gears to get a good top speed) but lovely to see this bike & keep up the good work..
@jakebrown57567 жыл бұрын
one thing you should add is some sort of slap shifter, instead of the foot shifter

Hey Oliver! cool spark effects on ur Video, my heart sank when you plopped down the broken 4th gear, mayb the previous owner was HARD on it, and you juz gave it enough reason to go capluie :) nice job with the extension. Im hoping U demonstrate it going in reverse at least for juz a few feet, Oh I commented on a few of ur videos not realized you had like 35+ videos OMG ur a busy builder, I only clicked on the handful I saw in my browser then figured out how to find the parts of ur builds that i missed. I liked ur clever bending to get the diesel exhaust farther back, and WOW that pumping slow start up of the diesel engine was mega MANLY! LoL I hope the Air Force or what ever branch u end up in puts ur mechanical/engineering skills to good use

I knew a guy who had a diesel bike back in the 90's, it was based on a Royal Enfield, it was the slowest thing ever but it would almost go from one end of the UK to the other on a single tank of fuel!!

Right now it only goes 35mph in 5th gear, ill change that though
@nickkluger977 жыл бұрын
That's sweet, but you should probably remove the reverse because it seams a little silly on a bike. Also tighten that chain...
@Friedrich-Wilhelm-19807 жыл бұрын
na reveries can be handy some times like if you're in traffic on a downward hill and just need to pull off i love having reverus on my goldwing
@nickkluger977 жыл бұрын
VK70001.P I guess so. But on such a small bike I feel like you wouldn't really need one. Unless you have a massive bike like a gold wing.
@Friedrich-Wilhelm-19807 жыл бұрын
Nick Kluger not really hurting anything either tho and he could mess it up by trying to disable it
@nickkluger977 жыл бұрын
VK70001.P I guess so. But disabling it is just removing a chain. I have done it to that exact tranny
@Friedrich-Wilhelm-19807 жыл бұрын
Nick Kluger but why do it i mean unless he accidently puts it in reverse while hes speeding along its just more work i dont blame him when i get things working i dont want to open it up again either
