Do you Hear what I hear by Home Free is a must if you haven't gotten to it yet. It's a show stopper. Bathing else like it on the planet. And arranged by Adam Rupp. Worth a listen if you have time.

Matt I know you guys are down to the wire and may not be able to squeeze anything else in this season. But you really need to check out Home Free, Do You Hear What I Hear. The beats that Adam delivers from the very beginning are so different and lend such a haunting quality to the music. Adam also arranged the song. If you can't fit it in this year's offerings, give yourself a gift and watch the video.

Chance before joining Home Free was in a group that was on The Sing-Off in season 2 called Street Corner Symphony and he was the bassman for the group and can sing bass, not as low as Tim, but he is baritone just because that slot was open in Home free, but quite often does the back up bass and bass when Tim sings.

This is probably my all time favorite Christmas song. Since I first heard it, I have heard many different versions and each has charmed me. This one by Home Free was exciting, because it was full of surprises in tempo, harmony and dynamic phrasing. It was refreshing and came with unexpected anticipation to see what Adam R and the rest of the guys were going to do next. I love any version of a beloved classic that allows you to experience it with new eyes. BTW Adam said in an interview that one of the things about beat boxing he has to remember is to keep in mind that doing a perfect sound imitation is not the goal. Rather it is getting as close as possible but still have it sound human enough to blend with the voices. What a problem to have! Good job, I'm looking forward to seeing what y'all do with it this afternoon. See you then.

Guys, Adam Rupp did an amazing arrangement to Do You Hear What I Hear, but although it is a Christmas song, it is one of HF's best songs out of their entire portfolio. You need to react to it. It is an older video with Chris Rupp in it.

Love this. Those harmonies are killer and Adam’s beatboxing and Chance’s lows are incredible. Did you hear his growl after “I am”? Amazing. Chance did sing bass for his group before he joined Home Free so he can go low just not as low as Tim. I loved the serenity of the scene too, just the manger, stars and the Star of Bethlehem. The place where you caught Tim mouthing the word at the end of Austin's line- i think it might be because he's getting ready to pick up the melody line from singing harmony, and he's matching pace and finding his pitch. Or not, just a thought. As far as O, Come PLEASE do Voctave!!!!!! It's a different feel because they're an ensemble that can cover 5 octaves in one chord, and the lead holds a note forEVER!!!!

"O Come, All Ye Faithful" just 1? I will NOT choose just one. LOL. Because they are sooooooooooooo different, I think you should react to Voctave AND Pentatonix (the Pentatonix version is like not even the same song) and you'll agree once you hear it! That said, if you listen to Voctave's version, then can you react to Pentatonix's "12 Days of Christmas" (or "Little Drummer Boy" if you haven't heard that yet). Neither was a playlist Christmas hit of mine...until Pentatonix.
