Probably one of the most savage characters on TV, Frank Barone was never afraid to speak his mind or throw some serious shade at his wife, Marie, or his sons, Robert and Raymond. But underneath it all, we know Frank truly and deeply loved his family... or at least we hoped. It's hard to tell. Peter Boyle was for me the real star of Raymond - had such brilliant timing and delivery which made Frank's caustic, crass comments even more hilarious than the writers did!
