Hi everyone!
Happy Birthday to my little boy Echo who turns 1 today!
In this video I had to do a large triptych commission. This was the biggest I have done to date.. I was soooooo nervous but I am so happy with the results!

WOW so many comments - thank you everybody. I wanted to say that "The Client" is FLOORED and blown away (HA pun intended). I cannot wait to see this beauty in-person as it has to first dry and then ship all the way across Canada to Vancouver Island. To me I see a combination between a beautiful and unique Iris flower blossom and a Siamese Fighting Fish. I love every aspect of this creation. Having commissioned Kanella, I actually knew very little about her or her huge following here on KZfaq - I had never even watched a video. I am sort of glad now that I had a "virgin" experience watching my painting being created. When I saw a piece she posted on Instagram in March 2020 after the pandemic lockdown started in Canada... I knew I wanted a piece! However that piece was way too small. I'm happy to have been a part of your growth as an artist, Kanella, and to challenge you beyond your limits with such great success on your end - I hope that you will grow far! I had NO clue that you would video record the pour as a super extra EXTRA added bonus. It was fantastic to share in this process with you. Now we need to think of a name to title this masterpiece!!!! How amazing that you've never watched a video before commissioning this piece! This was definitely a BIG challenge (while we're punning around!) for Kanella, but she's up to it! Once again a spectacular pouring experience. You are truly the Canadian queen 👑 of the Dutch pour. I can’t imagine how nervous you were, especially with your husband in the room. Great job Kanella. I know all about the tummy jitters. I did a triptych exactly the same sizes for my sister for her birthday and I was a bundle of nerves for days before, during and didn't sleep the night of the pour. I kept getting out of bed to go check on the paintings.😂 They turned out just as she wanted and when they got their resin on, they were magical.

There’s a sloth 🦥 in your paint!! The middle canvas the bottom. Middle petal is the sloth face and the other 2 extending petals are his arms!!! Totally gorgeous paintings ❤️❤️
