32 Bit On a Budget! The X6 Portacapture From Tascam In this video we talk about the x6 from Tascam.
I received the X6 portacapture from Tascam as a review item but i bought previously the x8 and i love the Portacapture series!
What i quickly noticed was that the Tascam Portacapture x6 has better buttons and menu navigation.
the X6 Portacapture from Tascam is a nifty device that records 32 bit.
Having 32 bit recording allows you to record audio and be more versatile if you need to edit the sound!
What I really like about the Tascam x6 is that it has a better menu than the x8 .
Another great feature that the x6 Portacapture and x8 portacapture have Is that each channel will be recorded separately.
You also get a mixed version.
The Portacapture series is especially good if you need backup recordings and you do a lot of different types of work since they are so versatile!
X6 and X8 from Tascam have a lot of professional preamps and noise gates as well as lot more.
If you are struggling to make a decision if you want to buy the x6 or the x8 i would go with the x8 but if you are on a budget and the x6 can do everything you need i would highly recommend to pick up some adapter cables so you can plug in multiple Mics for a podcast for 20 dollars you can save the price difference and get more functionally
