Maybe someone else has already said this before...but as I was watching you put together the lunch boxes, it suddenly occured to me that you are just like a Japanese mum who makes bentos for their children and husband every day. Maybe your lunch box is not quite the same as bentos but you always have a variety of food to be nutritionally balanced, you dress up the lunch box, making the food look nice with different colours, adding edible flowers etc; that is quite Japanese. The idea of the eyes eating before the mouth does. Your family is very blessed. A really lovely video Noemi. As always.

Noemi, I bought the steam mop you use and recommend. It's amazing!! I trust you so much ❤️ we have hardwood floors, two dogs, a cat, 4 yr old boy, chickens, garden, husband is a diesel mechanic. We are dirty! I love that it's just water/steam, we are so sensitive to synthetic cleaners. You're the best internet mom 💖

Good morning! About a year ago, there was a Costco built that is less than 5 minutes from our house. We stop in pretty regularly. That chicken breast is our go-to. The first time we got it, my son just threw it in the freezer in a big heap, so all of the sections were just frozen together in a ball. 🤦🏼‍♀️😂 Now he knows to cut the sections apart first. But the thing we go for most often is gas. It is usually at least 20c or more cheaper per gallon. 🤗 I hope you and your family are doing well! ❤❤❤

Ha ha we done that in the past too never again! As I tried to cut it it was impossible to make a descent cut we had to use it all at once!😂 We used to have a Costco near by and we wend there very often now it's a project to get there! 😂 but it's still worth it! and yes the gas is another reason to go there! 😀💗 Have an amazing weekend to you Elizabeth! I don't buy many new products at my age. But just bought the Zwilling vacuum sealer and starter bags plus one large glass container. (This is because I saw you using one.). WOW!! I love it. 💗 Therefore I was soooo excited to see this morning's video on how you use it. 😁 And the tips on how to store different foods. GREAT! 👍 Neomi, your work ethic is so incredible. I have been becoming a minimalist, a cleaning nut and been on the nutritional journey as well. Saving food 🥕 and money💲 with being able to store it for a longer time ⏲️ is something that has been a long time in coming. (I'm almost 70). Thank you. 🙏

I loved learning about your food storage system. Do you have more videos or tips for using the zwilling? Especially for Costco, the quantities are so large that things often spoil before we use them all so the savings overall is diminished due to waste. Figuring out how to extend the shelf life of certain items is a game changer, especially for produce. Their strawberries are always so good!!! Great video. Thank you

I was born without a functioning common sense processor in my brain. It never occurs to me to wrap chicken in wax paper and freeze. Instead I spend more for the chicken breast already frozen in single portions. As a single person this video was especially helpful to me

Thank you so much for the tip about wrapping raw meat in wax paper to put them in the Zwilling bags! I purchased a Zwilling set after seeing you use them on your videos and I LOVE IT! But I was also very hesitant to put raw meat in them. Excellent solution. Thank you for another great video. I always enjoy watching your newest video on my lunch break on Monday. I am usually doing laundry and cleaning the house on Monday, so your videos are great motivation to keep going through the afternoon! 💪😊

I let my avocado ripen before I put them in the fridge. They last in the fridge without ripening and I always have a ripe avocado. 😊

Consider steaming the tamales. Its actually faster and the tamale will hold its shape and be moist not soggy.

Thank you for mushroom storage tip. I had no idea. I buy a lot the same as you. I heard about organic breakfast chicken sausage in the freezer section. I get so overwhelmed by the size of Costco that I am too worn out to search for new things. I love your advice so I know what to look for. I love all your cooking and allergy advice. Also love that chickens have their own music theme. I do like coconut oil but it spatters too much and makes a mess. I stick to avacado oil. Looking forward to all your garden prep and projects. You have such creativity with edible flowers. Would love to see how you do stuffed zucchini flowers. ❤❤❤❤❤

Hi Noémie when you blanch the beans they will keep their color much better if you cppk them without the lid, it takes a bit longer but the green stay vibrant, it’s true for all green vegetables

Hi! I was searching for food/meal prep. How do you tackle leftovers and avoid food waste? I think this would be a great video idea to cover! Love learning how you meal prep... would also love to know how you plan to use it later ;) I always end up with too much food in my house and unless I spend hours meal prepping on how to use the leftovers. I end up wasting food in the end do to lack of time, and I also feel like it ends up taking away my creativity being forced to use what is leftover - it just saps the energy right out of this mama!
