To me, it is so meaningful that I wanted to share it with you. 33 years of tournament competition, life, family, friendship, and a whole lot more all rolled into it.
This is the last tournament highlight video we’re putting out. Didn’t plan on it, but to me it is very important to show everyone and everything that made me who I am. Honored and humbled by all of it. Team VanDam all coming together!

KVD is an awesome roll model for so many young people getting into the sport of bass fishing. In a day and age where good role models are hard to find, KVD does it the right way.

Kevin has been the only angler that I followed and took word for knowing he's from my home state. Just to watc jcb all these tournaments have put me in the world of tournaments where every time I need a few pointers I've got someone who's got it down.

Kevin, I’ve been a fan and follower of yours for years. I really enjoyed listening to everyone talking about you and all you’ve done in the sport, but being a father myself, my favorite part was listening to your boys talking about you. Congratulations to all you’ve accomplished. Hope you have a wonderful retirement.

KVD is t really is the full package. I started following him when I was 13. My little brother and I idolized him. I wanted to be Kevin. 17 years later and he’s still my favorite angler. My upmost respect for Kevin.

Favorite part is seeing the "not tournament mode" KVD. We all see the professionalism and drive... but rarely get to see the fun, giddy inner child like he let's out when just hanging with Zona and his family. Brings the human aspect to the forefront.

What really is the best part of this is everyone talking about your humility, your work ethic, your love for your family and conservation. The man behind all the winning is what makes you the champion you are. Few competitors are able to truly compete at the highest level for their entire career from start to finish and Kevin you sir did that while being the best man you could off the water. The best part to me is every time your on the stage for the final weigh, and you weigh more than the other guy, you never forget to stop the celebration to shake their hand. Very humble.

The best part of this is the relatability for me. Growing up in a small midwestern town, knowing maybe I can do what Kevin’s done. The fact that fishing never has and never will get old for me. Fishing is so exciting, relaxing, it’s great. Maybe one day I can hit it big Like Kevin did!

To say that , Kevin Van Dam is the "Michael Jordan of Bass Fishing " may begin to explain to someone who doesn't follow Fishing to begin to understand exactly what he has meant to this sport. He is a super nice guy, just as advertised. The purity of his character is one example of his genuine greatness. His drive to be the best, his work ethics and will is a big part of what makes him great. His input of bait and boat designs has transformed the sport of Bass Fishing. Thank you Kevin Van Dam, my wife sees how important you are to me when she says that I can't talk about you without my voice cracking and getting emotional. KVD The G.O.A.T 🔨🎣

Hey Kevin, I have been watching your talent spark threw out my whole life. U have gave me at a look at what I want to be. What I enjoyed most from this video is how your hard work payed off for you. I remember seeing one of his live seminars in Grand Rapids, Michigan in the early 90s. I saw his determination and love for the sport then and he doesn’t seem to have wavered from that at all over his career!

So if you come back to Kokomo Indian for our little travel show, let me know...please the last time you were her I had back surgery and couldn't make it. Hope to see you, Kevin VanDam. My favorite part was listening to everyone’s responses on how you impacted ALL of them in such a positive way as well as setting the standards for the fishing community. The best part is all of it. Never knew that getting to ask you a question at a Bassmaster Classic would be so nerve wrecking! I remember the question well. What was the most difficult thing you faced that day on the water? Unfortunately, you had a terrible day catching. Thank you for the great memories!
