Thanks for another great gear video Gary, I just made one of these out some old silo ring steel. I have a pile of it here, it's a little crooked but they are solid for sure. Thanks again!.

Ever issues with them taking the set up for a swim? My worry is a rear caught otter, suppose they'd eventually get caught up as that stabilizer would probably act as a drag.

I run my cable from my trap through the D ring and to my stake so stabilizer is always attached to trap and anchor.

Does this work on all the trap dog settings or do you have different stands for different dog settings
@thehammerstraplineproducts
@thehammerstraplineproducts Жыл бұрын
It works on all of the settings all you would do is either bend the jaw holders which are the 1/4” rods up or down to hold your jaws for the setting you like. If you’d like I can do a video on how to adjust these for different settings or for diff makes and models of 330s.
@swimmer537
@swimmer537 Жыл бұрын
I gotcha. So that 1/4 inch rod is flexible enough to do that in the field. Did you use regular steel rod for something softer?
@thehammerstraplineproducts
@thehammerstraplineproducts Жыл бұрын
@@swimmer537 just normal 1018 hot rolled steel. I use pliers or the box end of a 10mm wrench I normally have in my pocket to adjust my pan tension bolts.
