5 жыл бұрынThis week we share our shake down cruise, but it was not the normal shakedown, it was proper. We sailed around Cape of Storms. We went to Saldanha, then Houtbay, then around Cape Point to Simons Town, then to Gordons Bay, Pringle Bay and then all the way back to Cape Town. We anchored and docked, we had no wind to 41 knots....from full Code D and main to fully reef 2 on both main and genoa in 30 minutes. The swells was between nothing and 3m high. This provided for exciting times on learning the ropes on Sisu!

We purchased a Leopard 45 Catamaran to sail around the world and now we are going through the preparations of getting her kitted out for our needs. We want to visit off the beaten tack places and need to prepare for ice bergs, storms, heavy seas, as well as nice tranquil tropical waters...
Follow us on our journey as we learn from legends when Sailing La Vagabonde upgraded from a monohull to a catamaran...SV Delos wants to upgrade to the latest Amel 51 monohull....Gone with the Wynns chose a Leopard Catamaran....choices choices choices. We looked at other sailing channels such as Wicked Salty, Satori, Jessica and Ryan, Catamaran Impi, MJ Sailing, Happy Together, Sailing Uma, Sailing Yacht Ruby Rose, Zingaro, Miss Lone Star, Sailing Doodles, Drenched, Lucky Fish gets Away, RAN Sailing, Out Chasing Star, Follow the Boat, Rigging Doctor, Sailing Lady Africa, Abandon Comfort, and many others to find our answers and solutions, whilst we prepared our yacht in Cape Town, South Africa.

It is a beauty. You have good reason to be extremely proud. I like the twin wind generators. Trying to remember if you mentioned and/or evaluated hydro generators or twin head sails. Glad you are enjoying your time on the boat. Best wishes.

I understand your vessel is new ,, which one in your ! opinion do you like a little bit better the leopard or the Lagoon I've kind of been a leopard fan for a while I also like some of the lagoons I think the Privileges are beautiful expensive like all the rest , guys are very fortunate Very very happy for you have a wonderful great life

@@VoltairePower Yeah, I've watched them all. It's a fun story to follow. I think when you leave such a negative comment you're forgetting a few things 1- this is free content. Why do you have expectations? That probably says a lot about you. 2- they just got their dream boat which is the result of decades of sacrificing and planning. One would think you could be a bit forgiving of their preoccupation, if you were a true "fan" or "friend" to the channel. 3- basic human decency should keep you from ever spewing this kind of negativity , particularly to folks as lovely, kind and inviting as the crew of Sisu. It's just a little messed up to speak to people that way. Not cool sir.
