Let me tell you a tale of how the Wii Fit U community became how it was, there was a time when the Smash Bros for Wii U and 3ds community was just the Smash Bros series community, where all the dumb, clever, and off topic posts would live together in fun and harmony, but then on October 3rd all of that changed, because when they changed the Smash Series community into the Smash for Wii U/3ds community they took away the feature where anyone could post on the front page, looking for somewhere else to go, the off topic posters tried to settle down in the Zelda series community, but the people who actually posted about Zelda stuff didn't take kindly to it and a war broke out, false reports everywhere, people who just wanted to have fun were banned for doing nothing wrong. So whats left of us eventually moved to the Wii Fit U community which was dead before we came, which made a nice home for us all, which we lived in off topic harmony, the end

I remember getting banned all the time on Miiverse for talking about Minecraft...

Alot of this is in the SSB, Wii Fit U, and NSLU communities, and the reason why is because of the "smashers." Essentially, they started on topic, but eventually they became more about trolling. Nintendo cracked down on them by shutting down the community, so they all moved to the volleyball community, where they created hotel bigly, a haven for "lost" smashers. They then planned a massive raid on the LoZ series community, where they trolled a lot more. Then there was essentially a war between smashers and Zelda fans ("Hylians"). Clans of smashers report bombed and even banned Hylains for Complaining about raids. They eventually took over the thread. A user called "Cold Midna" infamously report bombed any of topic post, and led a clan called the corrupted rebels, and so _The Great Smasher/Hylan War_ began. The smashers ended up being massacred. They then moved to the Wii Fit U community, and cold midna vowed never to attack again, even joining their community to defend them. The smashers then lived in the Wii Fit U community from Jan 2015 almost to 2017. The miiverse redesign ended up with the Hylians welcoming them temporarily, and then the smashers moved to the New Super Luigi U community. For now they wait for Nintendo's next move on them, which may never come. I left lost out, so you can look other stuff up.

The reason some of the posts are in the Wii Fit U community, is because it was at one point the replacement of the Smash Bros Community after Smash for Wii U and 3Ds released. At the time, you had to own the game in order to post there, so after Smash 4 was released, people moved there to post about Smash. Then it kinda became the "post anything you want" community. In a nutshell, the Wii Fit U community was basically a more mild version of 4chan's /b/. Almost nothing there is to be taken seriously.

I'm really going to miss Miiverse, making drawings there was my main reason of being there in the first place. And I'm going to miss all the friends I made there. It would be awesome if they made an improved version on the Switch.

RIP Miiverse, you will be missed.

Note: Wii fit U, New super Luigi U, KZfaq and Wii sports club communities were used for posts unrelated to a game. It acted as a replacement to the activity feed posting function that Ninty removed, and I think it happened this way because they were communities that weren't moderated as strictly. Also NSLU kept the format of the old miiverse, which I personally found better too.
