Thank you for joining me on my First paint skin on a Serving Board or Charcuterie Board. In this I cover the steps from the paint pour, cut out paint skin applying the paint skin and resining!
I haven't seen this anywhere on KZfaq, so if you can find this application, please let me know. I believe this is a NEW tutorial application.

Pillow paint: Multi-Pro
My Pouring Medium is the Valspar Ultra 833124 Base C high gloss: MinWax gloss varnish ~ 3:1 ratio to start, adjusted for consistency from there, aiming for a 2-3 second trace when mixed with paints.

Louise this turned out so well! It’s beautiful! You definitely have patience because when I apply my skins I don’t hold them down. I apply a small piece of tape to do the work for me? 😜 I’ve never thought about not taping the front of the board and just allowing the resin to flow. By far that is so much easier.

I first learned watched that you have to tape, but it’s a mess for me so I’ve resorted to freestyling now and much better

Louise so pretty. How long did you let the paint skin to dry before cutting it? Also how long before resining the skin to the board? Sorry so many questions.

Thanks Carolyn, 💕💕you've earned some Q&A. The skins dry pretty quickly, 3 days this was ready to peel up. I adhered the skin to the board and next day applied first resin. I appreciate your interest!
