Personal chat about living with autism as an adult.
Bit uncomfortable for me doing this but also a bit, therapeutic talking about it? anyway, here's some of me.

Autistic people are the best actors, we mask, I know good and well I do, I was diagnosed at 31, and did a lot of digging and research about what I have, and was surprised as hell when I saw the amount of traits I actually have, I freak out when routine changes last minute, or plans I get full on pissed off, it affects my mood for hours, you do so well joe, don't ever think you're stupid, or a baby because of your condition, autism is not our fault, our brains are like they are because we were born like this, but over time we mask, hence why traits can take a while to surface or worsten in some cases, honestly probably because I'm on the spectrum, I adore seeing traits in other people no idea why, also obsessive interests are a thing, boy I could be a detective the amount of true crime facts I know x

I agree Kayleigh, we mask (as most people in general do0 but atypical people maybe mask more or masking takes more out of than neurotypicals perhaps?. I don't know) yeah I see women mask autism easier? or outsmart neurotypical males lol. social situation's in general are difficult but god.. stuff's hard. thanks for your input man you're living hardships that even I don't live. x

Thanks Man yeah it was super uncomfortable but glad I made it, it feels nice to share a couple of "quirks" that happen on the daily that people don't see. You know about half of it because I tell you about them all the time lol. I was supposed to do a YAWA story then ended making this one instead 😂 Yawa next!
