For Honor where I’m at legal tint is 35% for front windows on pickup truck but the rear window driver/passenger and back window can be 2% or darker if possible. The front windows can’t be darker then 5% on front windows or it’s illegal. No one cares though lol. Cars you can only have 35% and front windshield tint is fully illegal

Yeah thx for the comment, I’m debating on getting 20-35% done on my front windshield. I have 5% all around, and can’t decide what would look best overall to complete the look.

If 20% looks really good and dark. Then imma go with it for the front windshield next week.

@@dre82 You could do 20% and if you don’t like it, change it 35%. That’s what I was going to do but ended up liking the look and I had no issues seeing at night. I had aftermarket headlights though, so I don’t know about you. I would like to know what you go with though. Good looking truck bro. I personally love all black look.

A little over a year and I love it I didn't want anone seeing inside TBH but the temp inside is wayyyy cooler and I almost never wear sunglasses which I like and cops haven't pulled me over once

I tinted 35 % windshield , front 2 windows 20% on 35 and back windows 35 percent on 35 you think I’ll get stopped a lot 😭

@@care-a-lot1051 definitely go for the 35, 35 is still light enough to see thru during the day and night but looking from the outside it still has a dark appearance, make your car look extra good.

yep that's the good stuff. Some think if they go dark it will keep the cabin cooler. It's the TYPE of film that will get that done. Ceramic on mine too.

@@MarkBrenner if your state allows it it's not too hard to get. Go to the doc tell him with all the driving you do you find your eyes are straining and it gives you headaches. He might make you go to the eye doc and you tell him the same thing. They will check your eyes and likely find nothing wrong and will agree that it is the sun. Then get them to sign off on the paper and send it to your state (if that's how it works, I'm from Massachusetts and that's how it goes here) good luck. Also love the truck it looks great, I got a 2017 f150 all black around as well. Tint makes it look so much better, you sound like me talking about tint lol my girl gets annoyed cuz I tell her how much I love it so often.

I used 3M Gloss Black and I ordered a 12 foot roll. Wrap comes in rolls of 5 feet by howerver much you order so I got a 12x5 ft roll which I turned sideways and divided it up by 3 sections consisting of 2 feet for the front bumper, 2 feet for the rear bumper, and 1 ft for the grill.

Depends on the cops/department. Local city just put a post on Facebook saying theyre cracking down. Windshield tint asks for trouble because cops like to look inside while passing by to look for seatbelts and suspicious activity

In CA tint is kind of mandatory, so City Police and County Sheriff don’t usually make a big deal about it. Highway Patrol however are the ones that are picky about it.
