Just get detachable 5% limo tint like I did , *homemade limo tint* Customized Laminated tint and add a suction cup to them dead center of them. Ticket free tint > YOUR WELCOME!!!!!!

Okay, so here in GA got pulled over for the same thing. My front windshield he gave a pass because it wasn't that dark 50%. My front windows were $165 and my tag cover was $185, plus $25 processing. We have no option for paying a lesser fine as far as I know, but we don't have to have it signed off. That sounds awesome!

I couldn’t help but notice the irony of you standing outside in direct sunlight without wearing sunglasses or long sleeves while stating that you need dark window tint because you are so sensitive to sunlight. Pedestrians often need to make eye contact with a driver to safely cross a street. Can’t do it with dark tint.

If you was to have Eye glasses on all the time you would be able to get away with full face tint That's all I tell them is I got sensitive eyes to the sun so I need All around tint 5 percent and 35 on the windshield Also have a Dr's note from my Eye doctor

Multiple things. Love the truck. 40% windshield tint that looks a lot darker. My fiancé has 40% on her Camry and you can see into it a lot easier than yours. Your windshield tint looks lower more like 35% like mine on my ES350. I also deal with photophobia which is light sensitivity. I went and spoke to my Ophthalmologist and told them about my struggles with bright light. they did a few small light tests to see how my eyes reacted and was confirmed to have it. They wrote me a script to which I need to update yearly but it allows me my windshield tint. I am also an Ohio native so it might not be the same precautions out there in Cali but you could always go ask

That’s insane. I’m in North Dakota and I got pulled over a month ago for tint on my Tacoma. With 20% front doors and full 50% windshield it was a short and sweet please pay $20 within 14 days online have a nice day.

Dude the wrap looks GREAT. LOVE the color. Now with that being said, it attracts attention. You have to know this. Just do whatever the legal limit is on the tint. Your going to loose if you don't. The fine is so high to STOP the behavior. If it was lower you'd just pay it and continue. Also, tint that dark is DANGEROUS at nite that is the reasoning. LOVE the truck, your fighting a battle you can't win. Legal tint would look EVERY bit s good and you can focus on other things. If not it is a matter of time till they get you again and your insurance is going to go sky high once they do.

Just get a prescription from your eye doctor. Thats what allot in TX do. Never been pulled over for illegal tint, but I have a form ready to go in all my vehicles if I did.

Sounds like my province here in Canada. I got ticketed for my driver and passenger window tint being 30% and a plate cover. Didn’t help that it was also the end of the month which meant they were out to meet a quota. Drove right passed a vehicle inspection unit officer and as soon as I drove by he changed lanes instantly just to pull me over.

If you move in Texas, you can go 25%. I seen some do 15%.

I live in AZ and grew up in Colorado with 5% on all my vehicles. Never had an issue. My tint got brought up once in CO, but nothing happened. About to tint my windshield 35%

I was a Traffic Officer Division Supervisor in Tennesse for years and in a lot of cases the Officer had the option about saying citation could be taken care of with going to court. I watched your video when you did tent and wonder how that would go. Insurance in Tennessee if you don’t have or can show proof then your license will be suspended and reinstatement and very high. When I first developed our Traffic Unit years ago I could write you for not having insurance and tell you to get it before court date and they would drop citation at that time. No longer is the case now if don’t have and you get cited automatic suspension. Not sure about California traffic laws. When you did windshield I thought was so awesome and thought about doing my Silverado but changed my mind. Great video. Oh remember Officers don’t set fines or laws we just enforce the laws set by the State or Municipality.

Do you really need the front so dark? Not having insurance typically a much higher fine in most states. It is a learning fee, you learn what you can and can't do and pay for the lesson LOL. Really you already know why they do this as you stated. If I was a cop I would not want to walk up to a vehicle and not be able to see inside, just look at all of the crime these days and look up the number of cops getting shot, you would think differently about that. Insurance is a no brainer, just think if someone totaled your new truck, if you didn't have uninsured motorist then you would be left with the bill, and good luck trying to sue an uninsured motorist like they would have money lol. Even if you were insured they would make you pay by jacking your insurance cost.

That's nothing compared to NY, basically no tint allowed on most cars and trucks. 70% minimum on front side windows and windshield. 35% on back side windows. The fact that you got pulled over in CA for tint is ridiculous. Plenty of cars breaking the law here in NY and no enforcement, only inspections every year and most people just go to a "guy".

Those are some weird options. Like if they make you pay the larger amount, they should let you keep the tint. 🤦‍♂️

Your truck is definitely noticeable and rememberable and if you get caught again especially by the same cop he may not be as cool this time., just do 70 on the front windshield with a limo visor that's what I have and it is perfect, and should protect your sensitive eyes from the Sun...lol. If you just went lighter on the 2 fronts 30-35 % with no windshield tint, he would have passed you by. Too many people murdering their cars out with this crap.

As someone who has a concealed carry permit you should understand the importance of following laws whether you agree with them or not. If you want to play then you have to pay that's the life we choose.

Just imagine being confused on why your ticket cost so much when you literally can not see daylight through the tint you have on your vehicle. It don't matter what state you're in, you're gonna get fined more for having extremely illegal tint. Doesn't matter if you have a medical voucher through the dmv or not, you are only allowed alittle under the legal limit if that's the case. You even admitted that it's hard to drive at night because of the tint and also lied about having sensitive eyes. Why even have the tint if it makes things inconvenient.
