One of the main towns in Gribskov, is Græsted. Græsted is the third most populated town in Gribskov. With a total population of around 3600 inhabitants, Græsted originated with its name “Gresholdt” which means a place with grass and forest. Græsted dates back as far as the late 13th century. Græsted is well known for its Revue, Christian Beliefs and its annual Steam Fair.
