360° Fractal animation made by Schizo - www.psykick.de with Mandelbulb 3D
Move your smartphone. Use clicked mouse, WASD-keys or navigation wheel when viewed on monitor. Use your preferred virtual reality device to travel through the fractal canyon.
Rendering time for 6500 frames at 3840x2160: 16 days! Fractal based on formula parameters by batjorge.
Hope to release a stereoscopic version in the future.

Great work. This is a great way to handle fractal animation. I always have a hard time dictating my animations because there are so many places to go, but letting the user decide and being an interactive experience has got to be the best way I've seen it handled yet.

This is so cool! How does his work? I didn’t read what you said, and just started watching, and started tripping when things on the screen seemed to be moving and responding to me turning my phone sideways! lol 😂 Then I was like, what? I started moving my phone around and it moved with it, and then I went to pinch in to collapse the video, to look for context and comments! Very cool! Not sure how you do this, but sharing your work! 👍🏽

Holy shit I really to this comment so much I hate being in small rooms when I’m in a small room I want to go outside and breathe the air and explore this just made me feel like I’m somewhere else I am on no drugs I feel great life is amazing I I hope everyone in this comment section has an amazing life you don’t need drugs you just need your I in a different perspective if you don’t believe me breathe in and out move the phone closer to home and move it around keep it in a single spot for two minutes then in a different spot for two more minutes and switch off thank me later Stay amazing

Well I have the depth information / Z-Buffer as grayscale image and I hope I can motivate my friend to use this Z-Buffer images to create the stereoscopic effect. I think it would be really cool because of the network like structures.

It is 4K, but with 360° you always only see a part of the 4K source. So for 360° in 4K you would need 16K or so. Time will come ;-)

It is a 3 dimensional fractal (mathematical structure) and was created using the free programm "Mandelbulb 3D". No postprocessing. There is also a tutorial on my channel on how to create animations with that program: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/ibeHjLZzmM3XY6M.html
