James, anywhere from US$ 150 to 300 depending on variables such as length of stay and the location and quality of the guest-house or guest-villa you choose. Hope this helps. Look up accommodations on TripAdvisor and Bookings.com.

Never go to Seychelles alone. The more, the merrier and cheaper... because the rental cost and self-prepared meals cost will get divided.

Sandra, in your own car you can do a round of Mahe in a day if you stick to the coastal main roads. On the other hand, a stay of only 3 days is recommended only for honeymooners. An ideal stay period is 2 to 3 weeks. You can easily find self-catering accommodation for 2 for less than USD 100.

A 3 bedroom guest-house rental will cost you around USD 200 to 300 per day in Sey. All guest houses have self-catering facilities even if you get a one-bedroom arrangement. You'll find plenty of listings on TripAdvisor and Bookings.com. If you don't want to rent a car then find a guest-house close to a beach and the main road. Walking is grueling unless you are used to daily heavy exercise.

James, it again depends on the location and quality of the constructed house and of course the size of the parcel of land it is on. Anywhere from $200k to 8 million.

Its not a place for a back packer. Im just saying for that hassle and time and money . I would suggest beaches in greece, caribbean , philipines, italy , south america, south pacific , and other parts. Africa etc places you can go with out being held in immigration for 3 hours because you not carrying 150 dollars per day . There are places that will let you in with a stamp in and out or even a visa on arrival but If you must visit Seychelles be prepared they may turn you away . Their immigration is very strict even if you are staying a few days. You must have everything perfectly planned . All documentation and $150 us dollars perday . Never the less, I enjoyed my stay friendly people , beautiful place.

not 150 dollar per day fox new when you comming holiday seychehelles You can come wht 150dollars for the two weeks holiday if you want to extend you have e nought money I alright I no you have to go back is normal

I've just been there on holiday. Beautiful place. However, very rude immigration officers who didn't even bother to greet us with a simple"hello" or "good morning". You must have everything planned in advance ( hotel reservation, return ticket etc) , otherwise they might turn you away. Hotel standards not quite up to we are used to here in Europe and the staff was not very professional either. All in all a beautiful place but the downside is rude and not very professional locals.

akaiminiak to be honest it is true what he says about the immigration workers. They are very rude. My mother works at civil status which means she has to refer many documents to them first before proceeding and she always complain about them.
