@@Nooneishereonlymeit dropped the yeard before World War 2 and is a german movie written by the german Grimm Brothers. some of the voice actoes died during the war. I believe they were jews. and wouldnt be suprised if they had some german sctoes that also died but dont quote me. maybe im wrong

Pocahontas singing in American English IS NOT Virginia Algonquin! TY for at least crediting the Native American language spoken in the Jamestown area at the time. Suggestions: Please check out Virginia’s website -maybe there’s a tribal group with a Native American female singer who could record Colors of the Wind in Algonquin. There are also Native American actresses who can sing, and are / have been in Hollywood films or in the Independent Films industry! I bet there’s a Native American female singer-actress who’d love to contribute to this - and this would lend her talent, important visibility! (B T W, my ancestry is AfricanAmerican & Cherokee via my mom & dad. I hope to learn Cherokee.)

There are no living native speakers of Virginia Algonquian. Unfortunately, the vast majority of Eastern Algonquian languages went completely extinct. There _was_ a multilanguage fan dub made a few years ago of indigenous languages of North America, and Ojibwe was one of them. Although from a more northern region, it's a language from within the same cultural group as Virginia Algonquian.

There's actually a German adaptation of Sleeping Beauty created by the Brothers Grimm. So that's probably why Aurora and Maleficent are speaking German in the video.

fun fact: yeah this was based on the french version of the farytale but it this story is probably much older than we think probably goes back to charlemagne and the holy roman empire (wich included most of germany and france ) and due to most farytales being told mostly verbaly the names and bits of the plot are changed over the centuries. So you see the lines are pretty blurry. is aurora french or german? If you want to argue that you only the geological location will be valid, you'd have to go with german, because this story was first mentioned (in written form) in germany (instead of Aurora it's Thalia), wich to be frankly is also wrong because the farytale was around in france for a long time. even befor the first written records even appeard in germany. So it doesnt matter wich of those two languages it is! But what you could say is that this story is from a germanic origin (the term germanic has nothing to do with modern germany except ancient geographical locations of tribes) PS: I'll appologise in advance for grammatical and/or spelling errors I am not a native language speaker

And I think to say, it is from the region around France and Germany is probably a good answer, so that everybody could be happy with it. And I really know the grammar and spelling problem, I'm also not a native speaker (I'm from Germany) .
