What a great solution for folks with larger tires. I’m thinking a spare doesn’t need to be a “permanent” solution. It might work to buy the lightest weight narrowest wheel, tire combo that is nearly the same diameter as the tires you run?

Impressive! Damn, this is a lot of work and money just to hold a spare tire. I added 35x12.50r20 to my F250 so my stock truck could fit the spare, but it sure doesn’t look as good as 37s. But I’ll live. Lol

Is a 38 the largest tire you can squeeze into it? Looks like there is still a little room, could you fit a 40”??

What is the shop time you list for the installation? I’m about to have a Backcountry kit installed on my 2022 F-350 Tremor and I may have them add this while they’re doing the install. I’d like to know how much labor cost to expect. So what is the “book” time for this install?

Awesome video!!! I have 2016 super duty with fully optioned pintop system & add a pack. Does the rim size or offset matter? Tires are Toyo R/T 37X12.5/18. Rims are Method Race Wheels Mesh [Size, Bolt Pattern, Offset/Spacing:18x9 8x170mm 18/5.75"].

It appears to be lower than the factory mount by a good amount hurting departure angle. No good for me since the purpose of going to 37s was for ground clearance kind of defeats the purpose.

Seems kinda half ass if you have to undo the ratchet from the center of the hub. Good night if its covered in mud or the ratchets corroded. Maybe the R&D was done by the person who thought the welds were any kind of professional. You want it TIGed then tig the damn thing, don't put fake ass shade tree mig tacks all over it.
