Mickey 17 sounds brilliant. Bong Joon-ho is excellent and handles comedy really well so this just bumped way up my anticipation list.

M. Night's Trap film sounds awesome With it being his first film that has bogger budget and production value id be very impressed. But it also makes sense with the location being a concert, you cant have a cheap looking concert I just hope with it being a big studio film again that James Newton Howard will be brought back to score, he is one of the key ingridients that made Shyamalan's work so good and memorable 5:45 it also sounds like "Edge of Tomorrow" mixed with "Moon" 10:00 imagine if the Minecraft film is this minimal slice of life esque film akin to Jared Hess's works

Joker 2 Theory/Potential Spoiler . . . . This seems like too much of a love story to be a story about the abusive relationship that is Joker and Harley. I think that there's a twist coming similar to the reveal in the first movie that Arthur Fleck's girlfriend was really a stranger he'd imagined a relationship with. Except this time I think it's going to be Harley imagining a perfect relationship with Arthur with reality being much worse

I think the main criticism your trying to get across is that the comic to tv transition is almost identical just not completely chronological and that it throws you off as this season is basically just a build up to later seasons. If you read the comics and leant into it a bit more you’d probably get it more but if you save yourself for the show I get why people feel like this.

I hope the 2nd joker is just as dark. I loved the first one for that reason. I hope this doesn’t go into more of a love story type film. I loved the feel of the first with showing the spiral downward. I hope they keep that. If they do, I’m sure will be on par with the first.

I look forward and have more hope for whatever Matt reeves and Todd Philips are doing at DC, then I do with James Gunns stuff. Just me.
