3D goldfish pendant with big Rose Quartz with no holes - wire wrap jewelry making
Shaping 1 fish is not difficult, but I want it to look like the real fish and the most alive. So I saw a lot of pictures of real goldfish. This sample I took 4 hours to complete, and succeeded after 4 try.
The fish body makes a cage, you can use any shape stone you see fit.
You can use 3D fish as pendants or decorations.
I just give the parameters for reference. you can change to suit the material you have or your purpose
With creativity you can change some details to create your own style
wire size to make pendant with Rose Quartz 25x16mm (can + a few centimeters to depreciate)
20 gauge ( wire diameter 0.8mm ) : 2 x 35cm( 14 inch)
28 gauge ( wire diameter 0.3mm ) : 400cm( 160 inch)
TIPS :
- Before doing, Always be sure to straighten the wire for a more beautiful product
- Can use a towel to straighten the wire.
- It is difficult to see the wrapping clearly, so wrap as you like
- cutting slanted wire and squeezing to avoid scraping the skin
- Loop wire back to not slip
- Can be replaced with silver wire or gold wire for jewelry more valuable
Or simply use cheap material like copper wire to make gifts for friends, family or for yourself
