Its cool to see this in a city but i really feel like the potential of these billboards are wasted on ads. What we really need is theme parks using these screens. Imagine a theme park had a dark ride that used this, or a movie theater ditched 3D glasses and used this technology to it's full potential.

Maybe if one sees these ads only in a video, they may seem beautiful. If one has to live near these 24 hours lit ads, his life turns into a torture. There must be strict regulation where they may be installed and the hours of their work.

You can see carefully, the individual LED blocks are on some sort of mechanical arrangement to push and pull them which is synced with the video.

The train one towards the beginning doesn’t seem real at all. It went out of the Billboard. The rest are amazing but that one seems fake. I could be wrong but how do you have the train come that far out over the crowd when the board doesn’t? It only looks 3D but the images can’t go any further than the board is

Same doubt, the 3d effect is only till the LED wall which is basically L shaped. How the heck did the train manage to come out? i guess its a concept of how it would look like if the 3d glasses are on.

What should be the minimum sizes for this effect? Also what should the scanning speed be? What should the pixel pitch be?

There's actually no much limitation. As long as the led screen large enough ,better bigger than 50sqm and against a corner. That will be easier to hv such effect. Pixel pitch depends on the viewing distance, if human eyes to the led display is about 8m, then pitch under 8mm is accoutable. More budget then you can choose a smaller pitch to hv better resolution.---Lena, Yaham Optoelectronics
