when my dad was unemployed he used to play this all night in the computer room and write songs for his band in between, on nights when i couldn’t sleep when i was young i’d sit on his lap and he’d let me play against him and look at the music he wrote, my dad hasn’t been the same for years and i really miss nights like those

I forgot how epic this game was. It brings back childhood memories. I remember my sister had approx 80 million and played for almost 2 hours.

The bgm in this game is a very large part of why I am an aspiring working musician today. My mom used to have to take me with her to her office some days, and I always sat down at one of their bulky IBM computers and played this. It's like more than nostalgia, it's the whole euphoric composition and feel of it, it just woke such amazing feelings in me back then. Made me want to make sounds that make feelings happen in bodies. And here I am, 25 years later, pursuiting just that.

I remember playing this when i was little on my dads old computer

I was so little when I played it that I had no idea how to turn off the sound haha. So every sound effect is etched into my brain forever. I tried playing it today out of nostalgia on a PC which doesn’t have speakers, and my brain legit played all the SFX in my head. Also I’m 27 and still hopelessly suck at it.
