I once saw someone make tpu subframe bushings and rear control arm bushings. I am running a 95A TPU subframe bushing insert on my mk6 gti where the "dog bone" mount bolts in. Been over a year since installing it and the torque solutions arm.

When replacing sway bar bushings I lost one of them. Tried some tube polyurethane from Home Depot. That failed in less than a week. I found and misplaced the other bushing about 3 times now before I get around to installing (Need to pull engine and drop subframe). Finally I decided to stop wasting time looking for it and just print one. I've got some other printed bushings in service on the shift linkage with no problems. TPU is more resistant to oil than rubber is. If you have any oil leaks, the TPU will fare better than OEM rubber found in engine mounts.

6 months later. How's it holding up? I'm about to do this to a piece of equipment I'm fixing for the high school. Trying to decide if I should still order the part preparing for eventual failure.

Did u use tpu? It should hold tpu is so strong now the grace might dissolve it…but why not try it you have nothing to loose I made some bump stops once from tpu and some stops from my boot they work flawlessly!!!

what software are you running is it solid works? i just seen its fusion 360
