This is an update to my custom K'nex train project. If you haven't already seen it then I highly suggest checking out the original project video I released.

I first showed off my design for custom trains in 2022, but I had a couple issues with the design. In this video I'll be going over what those issues are, explain how I fixed them, and briefly talk about my next major project.
At this time these trains are unavailable, but that may change in the future. Printing files (.stl or 3MF) not be distributed.

I absolutely love your videos!!! Rewatched every one of them like 3 or 4 times x3 Y'know... I'd love to see an inverted coaster or a wing coaster train. Just something that would feel so cheeky to have on knex track. :)

Thank you! I'm really happy that other people are enjoying them and I'm working hard to get some more out! I've gotten a lot of requests to do both and I'd love to get to them eventually. I'm working on an air launch for a k'nex coaster. I could make winged trains for it while I'm at it!

I'm super excited to start sharing the progress for it. Its definitely going to be a huge time commitment, but it's also a project I've been wanting to do for a while!

with the magnetic brake fins on the trains you could probably do an LIM launch like the ones found on older premire rides launch coasters like Mr. Freeze.

I'm actually hopeful to build a LSM launch someday in the future. These trains sit higher off the track. With the added height I've been able to squeeze some magnets underneath for roll back brakes on my air launch project. I'd like to try to use the magnets for a LSM launch at some point in the future.

dam nice work! I too have re designed the wheels, atm Ive just finished fixing the front axle to work just like hyperia / hyperion style

That's super cool! I personally modeled mine to look similar to TT2's trains. I can't wait to see the final product!

you should make custom supports instead of rmc truss supports everywhere!😂

The truss supports are the quickest way to build a structure. I would keep an eye out for my next project. No spoilers, but I plan on using custom supports for it!
