Selective Laser Sintering (SLS), also known as Laser Sintering (LS), has been an industry favorite since the late 1980s. SLS is a versatile, powder-based 3D printing technology that makes it possible to print complex, functional designs without support structures.
It is one of the most widely used 3D printing technologies, regularly used in aerospace, personalized consumer goods, production tools, and machine components.

At Materialise, we offer seven different materials for Selective Laser Sintering:
PA 2210 FR is a flame-resistant, halogen-free polyamide - mtls.am/3geDrbv
Polypropylene (PP) is a tough, production-grade material with very high elongation at break - mtls.am/3ENp60f
PA-AF is a blend of aluminum and polyamide powder that is resistant to high temperatures - mtls.am/3T41loO
PA 12 is a general-purpose polyamide that offers excellent long-term stability and good chemical resistance - mtls.am/3S8nLUz
PA-GF is polyamide powder filled with glass particles with much higher thermal resistance than polyamide - mtls.am/3CCQ1ZJ
