How strong is it? If having an option between 3D vs forged, is forged not stronger, MUCH stronger? Unless specifying modulus and fatigue cycle data, all we hear is "lighter, CHEAPER, and weaker"...

This is brilliant.. !! Thanks for sharing and I have a question, is this useable for other doorknob designs as well? As I see, this design is only suitable for this type of door knob... How about a round knob? Do you have a different design as well?

What kind of non slip rubber are you using? I printed this model, tested it but it wont work with 3 diffrent rubbers between the two parts. It slips everytime i use the door opener it slips down.

Yes, this prevents us from transferring germs to our face after we touch doorknobs and such; but we're instructed to sneeze/cough into our arms and elbows, which is what is touching the door opener... Could this be an issue?

Research has shown that people touch their faces with their hands up to 20 times an hour - this number is significantly lower with arms and elbows. Of course we recommend taking extra precautions such as washing hands, disinfecting handles etc.

It'd be better to use foot openers. While one could use sanitizer to clean his hands, it's quite hard to clean contaminated sleeves :(
