3rd Gen Tacoma Fiberglass Conversion | HOW BAD ARE THE BODY LINES?

Күн бұрынDay 21 of our Tacoma build. The Goal is 30 days to build it, 30 videos, 1 ton axle, 40" tires and so much more. Today we drill out and mount up the 3rd gen conversion front end! And my cat is a MENACE.
The Tacoma is a 2010 TRD Sport, manual transmission, short box. And we are using the solid axles from a Ford Super Duty, Dana 60 front, Sterling 10.5 rear.

Looks pretty good as far as fiberglass kits go, could be a lot worse on the fitment. Any stuff you see that looks perfect with body lines was either custom made on the vehicle or had a lot of post production body work done. On the bright side, if you run out of daily content due to waiting on parts you can enter into the wonderful world of fiberglass modificatin and hundreds of hours of sanding 😂

@Dirt Garage I didn't think so, but the wide fenders threw me off? And I was thinking about the last time I was offroad when I was grinding my driver side fender on a tree , where we offroad ( PA , NY, North East ) the trails are so tight, those fenders would last a minute at Rausch Creek PA, I remember one of my friends had those Bushwhacker flares for about 30 seconds, I still haven't put my flare back on my Tacoma S.A.Swap, I'm probably just to take the other 3 off as well

@Dirt Garage OK, I understand, looks great, I'm just a minimalist and I live on the NY islands, we have serious crimes and problems here, cops don't give a shyt about tires sticking out, I actually got pulled over a few weeks ago cause they didn't think I lived in my own neighborhood, I guess cause of the way my truck looks? Here if you drive a rugged big 4x4, people think you're a white trash 🗑 redneck, every yoyo around here is about fancy cars and BS big rims, I'm literally the only Tacoma S.A.Swap on Long Island, maybe even on all of this part of NY, I can't find another one? Your Tacoma is coming out nice, but I still like the V8 Pickup the best!
