the character arcs, i can't :') Grian planning on leaving scar as soon as he died, then saying he can't let scar die and scar betraying him and grian being about to kill him, and scar being completely okay with it and the transition from grian yelling "TRAITOR" to "No, i can't kill you :'(" the stupid happiness of them in the boat in the pond and grian being so sad about winning, then killing himself D': they both died at their home even the ending messages are like a movie

They went through everything together in 3rd Life, had a half alliance in Last Life, and now they are soul bound to each other in Double Life. What a funny coincidence..

Okay so I know everyone in the comments is talking about how Grian and Scar's story is really touching and heartbreaking and all that, which it is, but is anyone gonna talk about Bdubs immediately betraying Impulse because Scar gave him a clock? Like pls, Scar has been scamming everyone and creating rifts between people since the start of the series and it's finally resulted in a full on death 😭✋

First and last deaths were Grian not wanting to kill Scar. Red Winter was finally slain by the Desert King himself. 2 Friends died on the hill where they claimed that "Everything the light touches is ours". 3rd Life is not just chaos, it's poetry.

This was amazing. The first death on the server was Scar's at Grian's hands and the last death was Scar's at Grian's hands Scar gave a clock to Bdubs in ep 1, Scar gives a clock to Bdubs in the finale There's probably more parallels but I'm still reliving that ending

The timing of Scar whispering to Grian “I have a plan” the moment Grian attacks him and throws him off a cliff is so perfect

The final battle was the epitome of, “I’ve won, but at what cost.”

Even though last life was a banger, we will never forget how incredible 3rd life's story was.

This series, which didn't have a plot and was just a bunch of "random" people, had a better storyline, ending, and character arcs than most books I've read.

Last Life is as much funny and hilarious as this was, if not more. But the poetic ending of the first person losing the life and the person who was the cause of it were the last two standing... And the end where scar gave grian the win and grian said "I won, but at what cost" is so good

It seems fitting that both the first and last deaths on 3rd Life were Scar’s at the hands of Grian

I just watched this for the first time after starting last life. At the end of the video, I had the biggest lump in my thought. This is the best Minecraft content I have ever seen. Amazing work, I can't wait to see how Last Life will end.

Having rewatched all 3 previous seasons after limited life, I think I can confidently say the story of this one ended up being the best. This is the only season where the server split into just two factions in an honest to God war of epic proportions. While every other season has been amazing in its own right, as with any cinematic masterpiece, the original can't ever be topped. Third life had the most twists, turns, betrayals, shenanigans, genuine moments and the sheer poetry of the final battle being an Anakin vs Obi Wan style duel between two best friends on the grave of their beloved pet... all while being completely unscripted and genuine... truly makes this series peak Minecraft.

I just bingewatched all of this series in one sitting and I got to ask, "How could this series go so perfectly without having been written ahead of time?" I dunno if it was all improved or scripted, but it was amazing and perfect, except for Grian's redstone.

There are so many poetic things about this. When the one thing that stops grian from murdering scar is scar giving up. How they went to the sand mound to tribute pizza before the final fight. How scar's death started and ended the series, both in grian's hands. And how that entire beautiful moment probably wouldn't've happened... if it wasn't for that one prank gone wrong.
