Goddess Chandraghanta the third form of Goddess Durga. She is depicted with a half-moon-shaped like a bell on her forehead, hence the name Chandraghanta. Chandraghanta ma is the “Shakti” of Lord Shiva and is in the form of Chandrashekhara. . Her name Chandra-Ghanta, means "one who has a half-moon shaped like a bell". She has ten hands, nine of them are armed by a trident, mace, bow, arrow, lotus, sword, bell and a waterpot, while one other hand blesses her devotees. She is seated upon a fierce tiger.
