My husband and I played this at our wedding. We had an amazing marriage until he died one week before our wedding anniversary in 2017. This song brings me such sweet memories of him. Back in 1998 I was 17 years old and my now husband, he dedicated this song to me when we were going through a rough time in our relationship. Now here we are in 2023 married with 3 kids and this song still touches my heart now as it did the first time I heard it. I sang this song back in 1995 at my high school talent show. I knew I would never get this chance again to pick up a mic and sing in front of hundreds of people. It was my moment and I shook the whole gymnasium!!! After the show, I was on my way to class and noticed a lot of fellas singing this song to their girlfriends in front of their classrooms, under shaded trees, the hall ways and parking lots! This song is highly underrated. A true 90’s gem by a group that was hailed as the second coming of the Jacksons, considering they are Tito’s sons. Sadly, the group faded into obscurity shortly thereafter, but left behind this amazing tune that makes me feel nostalgic for the 90’s, a great time in my life that was filled with hope, wonder, adventure, and thrills. Man, I long for those years!

You don’t get good music like this nowadays, let’s admit that.

I think anyone in the Jackson family that goes solo will always have to live in the shadow of MJ. It’s very fortunate because a lot of the family is super talented. This group could’ve and should’ve been so much bigger in the US. That’s why I’m happy for what Janet did because she showed that she could have a respectable career and identity on her own.

This hit number one in my country (UK) but didn’t have success in the U.S. Still sounds brilliant. I can hear that signature Jam and Lewis sound although they didn’t produce it. Who else won’t ever tire of this?

Listening to this song brings back so many memories, it’s no wonder how talented these guys were , considering who their uncle is . They even sound like him ❤️

When I listened to this when I was a kid on the cassette, I tried for years to type the lyrics on google while on Dial up connection, but i cannot guess what is coming out from their mouths and ended giving up..., then one day a month ago I was listening to random RNB list made by Spotify and this song played , my eyes opened in shock, looked at the song title quickly on my phone, and smiled and said.. "...So this is the song has been hunting me for 15 years,, damn... sounds great from the past , I even appreciate it now even more now im old".

What shocks me is the ending of the video. I did not expect that! Usually it's the typical Hollywoods Happy Ending for these types of songs. This video is accurate of my life. She DID get on that bus and she's gone forever. I was left behind. I live with the illusion that she's still here and that she never left. Then reality hits me again and that's the dualistic faces they show here at the end of the video. First they smile when they see her but then they realize they're just imagining her and she's really gone. That's why this is a well made video and has such an impact on me. For some (or many?) life does not work out like in the fairy tales. If this is you, then you're not alone. Maybe next life we'll life that fairy tale.
