My dad used to play this song every day when I was a little girl...it was his favorite song to sing and I loved it when he would because I could tell it made him really happy. I recently found out that this too was my mom's favorite song...it was their song. I didn't know this because my mom died when I was 3. I realized now that my dad loved it so much because it reminded him of her. Sadly, my dad also ended up passing away when I was 11 and I now listen to this song to remind me of him... There’s something about listening to Savage Garden that just takes me back to my childhood and hearing this song on the radio all the time. I’m almost 31 and can still vividly remember listening to this song over and over, in the backseat of my mom’s car in the middle of the summer. Simpler, less stressful times looking back now 😂

Back in 97 my first sem of college in Umass, Amherst and I'm from ny. So come may im done with finals and what not. All packed and ready just waiting for my brother to pick me up. I'm in my room watching tv on a small 19 inch which had the VHS combo lol. Part of the campus cable network we had a music channel. So I'm just sitting there killing time and all of a sudden this song comes on. I was like omg What song is this. I want it right now. As the song is near the end I still rem running to my desk and looking for a pen and paper trying to write the artists and song name down so I could buy the cd later. Just a little story i thought I'd share with KZfaq. Brought back lots of memories

Damn, Darren has a unique singing voice. Great breath control and technique. Beside his signature tone, he has a beautiful and a sustain and drop sweet falsetto. His tight vibrato in his mid-range and lower register sounds fantastic. Miss those dudes. They are memorable while a lot of the shit that's out there today should be burned.

Beautiful and meaningful song but this type of love can be overwhelming and scary for some. The person that shares this type of love must be humbled, patience and willing to be vulnerable .
