First things first. Thank you guys so much for 200 Subscribers! It means so much to me guys, that’s a huge mile stone that we all achieved together. Today, we are going to be showing off the new 4.10 gears and SCT tuner. Super excited to get rid of the 3.27s and actually get some acceleration out of the 2 valve. Pinging in not the piston in the cylinder vibrating prior to TDC. That occurs before you hear any abnormal sound. the pinging you hear is that phenomenon occurring at such a high level that the sound is resonating through the engine block and heads. If you can hear "pinging" it is way too late and damage is occurring. Thumbs up for the video.

the 4.10 gears is that for the diff or what is it for? and what has is improved when you donuts is it 1 or 2 tires

Lmao. Yes, it is for the diff. The stock gears are 3.27, 4.10s are an obviously higher ratio. If you put higher ratio gears in your differential, your car is going to accelerate faster because the tires are going to spin faster even tho the engine is spinning at that same speed it was with the stock gears. However, when you go higher in gear ratio, you lose top end. Meaning your top speed is going to be slower than what it was with a lower gear ratio. Lastly, if you have a limited slip differential there’s always a chance to do a one wheel peel burnout, but you can also do a two tire burnout, and no this didn’t effect that what so ever lol.

just got sct4 for my manual 02 gt and i’m curious on how increasing the air/fuel ratio affects the car, if you can let me know how it works much would be appreciated!

Usually cars try to run at around 14.7lbs of air to 1lb fuel (more so when your cruising.) however, if you want more power out of your car, you typically want to make your WOT air fuel ratio to be a little more rich. Which means less air to fuel ratio. Example 13lbs of air to 1lb of fuel. This is because it will add more fuel into the cylinders allowing for a bigger boom to get up and go. You don’t want to make it extremely rich tho and flood the cylinders with fuel cuz that can cause misfiring and pre-detonation. I would just play around with the tuner and start out with making it just a little richer, and add more and more until you get the most out of your car while still keeping it safe. Hope this helps👍🏼
