I play at the high school level, but I love the 4231. The attacking possibilities are very very good, and as an attacker, I love that. They say goals win games and defense wins tournaments, but not if Mouriño is your coach. I like counter attacks a lot too, but you don’t always choose when a counter will be…. So I also like possessing in the back until the opposing formation closes in. I could go on about all of this all day long, but I suppose I better not talk your ears off. I really hope to see more 4231 content in the future, it’s way to good of a position for as much as people sleep on it. Cya around

one of the trends of the moment with this system is its transformation into 4-1-5 which appears via Montpellier, Bayern, Ecuador

coach Reese . why should the attacking players should have depth in their attackings line? i want to understand the depth more and more would you recommend somthing please?

Depth means to have players positioned on different vertical lines throughout the pitch and within their attacking structure. By having depth it allows the team to play forward by breaking lines. Or can provide the opportunity to switch the ball through a pivot
