I'm 78 and resistance tubes are the best thing that ever happened to me. Since I'm indoors during this corona virus I happened to find a single band with handles and started using it immediately. I'm so impressed with the results that I'll be ordering a complete set. One of the big secretes for improvement at my age is to have a 2 to 3 hour catnap after each workout then go back and "hammer" the muscle all over again. As we get older we are not usually strong enough to properly "destroy" the muscle during a single workout. What I accomplished by a lot of extra rest between workouts really made up for my age. After a workout I can pack my entire workout kit in a shoe box. My friend is following in my footsteps just because he doesn't have the space for equipment in his apartment! Thanks to your "squat" program I'm climbing hills better on my bicycle! As it turned out all the muscles your training during your leg workout are exactly the same muscles I'm using while riding my bicycle up any hills. (Mike Scott, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada)

Great instruction Mark... I'm 55. Just retired from LE and recently retired from USAR... Ive been fit 90% of my life. I got fat for the first time about 5 years ago. Lost my discipline when I retired from the Army. BUT, I lost about 60 pounds since January using bands and my treadmill. I cannot use free weights anymore because both shoulders have been replaced. I really enjoy band workouts. Keep'em coming. Thanks!

I am a 63-year-old woman fighting diabetes, and do resistance training every 2 to 3 days religiously! When the gyms closed from Covid-19 I really freaked out, but my son told me about resistance bands. I have the same ones you have and do the same chest exercises that you do. One thing though, on the negative I try to lean away from the door in order to keep a more constant tension on the muscles. What do you think? Also, I really love your videos and I would really love to see full body workouts with resistance bands.

im in the same position as you(59)-insulin dependant diabetic.to create tension just add more bands or create more distance between you and the door.do miss the gym though

What I have found using bands - I usually have up to 4 bands or more for many exercises- is the indirect leg workout as the legs and core really have to work hard to maintain stability the further you move away from the anchor point.

Been training with bands since lock down, It was a good change of paste, NOW for the gym,s to re-open so we can get b ack to normal (living in the gym ;) )

Thanks Mark..for me this will be challenging..I am 70 and I need to have better chest..man boobs..I ordered resistance bands and I hope with this video I can see some changes in another month. I don't expect to be rock solid but a better upper chest and tighter stomach will make me feel better mentally. Thanks for the video here.

Rick R. I did the same as you . I used an 8ft 4×4 plus a 2 foot 4×4 on top with support for pull downs. Works great

i'm 43 years old, 280 lbs.. I felt like crap all the time, like.. literally dying after 2 hours of work like i was going to collapse.. I had my Dr test my Testosterone, my level was 40 ng/dl which anyone that knows, that is INSANE.. an 80 year old is supposed to be above 300 ng/dl so i'm 11 wks on TRT one 200 MG injection every 2 weeks I got some of these bands awhile back and I've gained SO MUCH muscle.. I have lost 15 lbs my arms are really nice from what I started with cause I only had two 10 lb dumb bells, and one 20lb so i did alot of arm and shoulder exercizes.. but now that I have these bands I dont even needs the weights anymore.. these things are AMAZING.. I plan on getting into the best shape of my life. btw.. 5 wks after starting the testosterone replacement therapy, all of my depression, anxiety was GONE.. I feel so much better.. i'm actually happy again.. I was literally suicidal and wanted to die before

Hi Mark my first time watching your videos workouts I subscribe already, I'm 65 and I do workout a lot, I use resistant bands. I like to run a lot I run about 30 miles a week, I have a good physic but would like more chest and biceps,should I drink more protein shakes, I'm told we need to have 1.5 gram protein for every KG, I weight 79 kg.
