It looks like a construction adhesive. But you can use any good, strong glue, such as E6000. You can get the construction adhesive at Lowe's or home Depot. Any home and hardware place.

What is the name of the sideboard. Can you write down the name please. I am Swedish and it sounds so cute when you say the Swedish name, it is by the way names of places and things in Sweden, someone already mentioned it. Love your hacks ❤

fun fact, the items at ikea are named after real swedish words or names 🇸🇪 'trampa' for example means 'stomp on'. fits for a mat.

I’d like to know what the design world considers “mid century” … I mean mid century… it doesn’t mean the same 20 years ago as it does now.

Mid century modernism was simple and futuristic design style with a modest material use and practical focus. It's called so because it happened between the second world war and the post modernism starting in the late 60's. The world war was over in 1945, or roughly middle of the century.
