The rusty car look/paintjob/wrap is almost NEVER done for Anti-Theft purposes...they genuinely just like that look.

I actually know someone who has something I call the Carvairo as it's half Corvair and half 1st gen Camaro. Too bad I don't have any pictures of it as honestly, they actually did a fairly good job with it. Best way I can describe it is that it is sky blue with the front, hood, front fenders, and taillights of a Corvair and the body, rear quarters, trunk, and spoiler of a 1st gen Camaro.

Honestly, when you brought up rusty wraps I was like "Damn who does that, rust looks god awful why would you purpose fully make your car look rusty? ". Then I saw some of the pics and I went like "Well shit, this has an oddly satisfying thing to it". I cant really explain what it is, but for some reason I kinda dig the aesthetic. I'd never put it on my car, as my one is actually rusty as shit underneath already and I just spent the past weeks repairing rust on my body panels. But on some of these cars it looked unique and interesting. Almost like seeing modern art: you probably wouldnt put it into your livingroom, but it catches your eye and intrigues you. And considering lights: on offroad trucks or stuff like that, I think lightbars can look really cool. As long as they're actually useful and you dont overdo it. However, I'm kind of a sucker for sequential blinkers and underglow. Probably because the latter is illegal in my entire country, and because of Tokyo Drift and Need for Speed.

Whenever Bladed Angel uploads, I know I'm going to get quality content.

1. I think it's just for the aesthetic. Some people like weird stuff, and a rusty car (without the drawbacks of it being rusty) is an interesting aesthetic. It's a harmless mod in the end. 2. The first reason why I think people do this is because they have two cars; one totaled in the front, and the other totaled in the rear. So instead of having two broken cars; combining them gives you at least one functioning, but weird, car. Beyond that, I can't say

Id like to see the superbird conversion on a widebody version of the challenger. I think that would look pretty neat, especially with legit nascar spec wheels.

I completely understand the Camaro to Trans Am builds. The 5th gen Camaro was getting showed off in the 2007 Transformers movie and people were HYPED… including many die hard Pontiac fans. Then the recession hit, Pontiac got the axe in 2009, and the Camaro came out in 2010. Since the 3rd and 4th gen Firebird/Trans Am was essentially the same body as the Camaro, it made perfect sense for the aftermarket to step up and make bumpers, hood, wheels, and interior bits to satisfy the disappointed Pontiac fans. It also made perfect sense to go with the 2nd gen “1977” style because that’s the one from the first Smokey and the Bandit.

I kinda like the rusty car wrap, purely bc on some cars it does look fairly good, but yeah I don’t think that it would deter thieves

i really love the custom ute builds! it is most likely since i am swedish and over here a lot of people used to chop up old volvos or bmws and have tiny tray on the rear and limit them to 30kmh to register them as an "a-traktor" which you can drive with a moped licence at the age of 15

The gate keeping stance is so true and super funny. Personally I don’t partake seriously in it but I’ll walk up to someone and be like so when you dropping it to the floor as a sort of conversation starter. Usually they’ll laugh tell me what they actually want to do to it.

I had seen a chrysler 300c front end on a dodge magnum, for a 300c wagon. Was done right and it’s pretty cool looking. OEM+ type style.

This was probably mentioned in another video but the gatekeeping bit reminded me of the guys who would tell you how to mod your car. I got a stock miata that I painfully rebuilt. I put a short shifter in it and got hand me down coilovers from a friend, that's it. Ever since I've gotten it I've had way too many people telling me how to treat my car and some even have the nerve to tell me my miata is a waste if not modded. Gatekeepers are why I loathe most car meets now.

Pick-up conversions are actually pretty cool :D In some areas of the world, having extra lights are almost required, but it's mostly limited to a pair or 3-4 extra "buckets" in the front, or a roof-mounted light-bar. Extra lights are very common in the Nordic countries, due to the abundance of wildlife (more specifically moose), and it is key that you are able to spot them in time.
