We would need to request a birth certificate first from one of your parents, as investigative process. Then, you would be able to apply for the Vietnam passport and citizenship.

Viet Nam law is taxing Viet Namese citizentship working over sea. if you dual Viet nam & Us pass port and you are having ID card and proved that living in Viet Nam permance or or short times or you own your property in VIET NAM. Why do you need Viet Namese pass Port? Do you want to own property in viet nam or Juist use Viet Nam passport as Visa to be in and out Viet Nam?
