killer advice, thanks Steve. I have a question about #3 ! around how many downloads do you need for a specific keyword in order to improve your ranking considerably (for that keyword)?

let's say for a certain keyword the difficulty/competition is 5 and the search score/volume is 5, what's your estimation of the number of installs that is needed to rank #1 for that keyword

I didn't get what is the third strategy about. You really didnt explain what is.

Greg, it's where developers get tons of people to search for a keyword and then download their app, thereby causing the algorithms to think that your app is more relevant to that keyword. For example, if I wanted to rank well for "bingo" I would pay people to search for that keyword and find my app and download it. With enough downloads, my ranking for "bingo" will increase.

Hmm...I had around 50 reviews in 2 weeks and I did not payed people to make the reviews. Half of them were friends and friends of my friends who support me, other half form a promotion a vlogger made about my game. Since then , I got almost no reviews , but that doesn`t mean I was cheating. On the other hand, how can you make so many videos about ASO improvement , when you can cover everything in a single video? What`s the catch? What are you selling?
