Homemade 48" Metal Shear and 48" Metal Brake. Made in Montana. The press has 2 ea.
7" dia. cylinders and has 100 ton capacity. I built both of these myself to save money.

You built those from scratch? Wow. That is sweet bud. I'd love to build a press brake for my shop.

Very nice work, Sir the set looks great , you built them heavy, taking out the twist factors. 48" x 1\4" is great size for any shop giving lots of range in materials and don't take up lots of room. the manual valves are perfect, simple and last forever, easy to repair or replace. .blue is a good shop color, Ford\New Holland blue or Deere green from TSC is durable paint in the shop. Thank you for the time invested in making the video and sharing your builds.

Glad you liked the video. Yes, I try to build things that are durable and easy to work on and do maintenance on. I've got more projects shown on my website: www.rapidcreekcutters.com and it's FB page. It's fun working with metal and mechanical stuff. I'm new to KZfaq, so most everything I've done in the past is just in photos.

Thanks for the compliments. Not really socializing at the moment, but if you're local you're welcome to stop buy and see the shear after this COVID19 thing passes.!! E
