This is one of my most favorite forging pieces to make, the classic Split Cross! It can be made 1000 different ways with all kinds of materials, so for this video I'm showing how I make my standard, forge texture split cross.
The starting material is 5 inches of 1/2" square mild steel stock. Proportions and cut lengths are all personal preferences!
